We assist our foreign clients in opening personal or business bank accounts in Georgia

There are two ways to open personal bank accounts:

1. In-Person Visit:

• Personal visit to Georgia is required.
• Only your passport is needed; no additional documents are required.

2. Remote Account Opening:

• Accounts can be opened remotely through the Power of Attorney (POA).
• Required documents: POA and a copy of your passport.
• Both documents should be Notarized and Apostilled (or Legalized).

Notes:

• The bank reserves the right to request additional information or documents. In such cases, clients must promptly provide the requested information or documents to meet the bank’s requirements;

• In some instances, banks may refuse to open accounts without providing reasons, usually due to concerns from the Anti-Money Laundering (AML) or legal departments.
